Your logbook stays on your device and, if you turn on sync, in your own iCloud. We have no servers, no accounts and no analytics, and we cannot see your flights, your roster, your expiry dates or anything about your career.
Your flights, expiry dates and settings are saved on your device. Files you import are read once to bring in the flights and are then kept only so you can re-share them from Settings; you can delete those copies any time. Deleting the app deletes all of this data, so export a CSV or PDF backup first if you want to keep it.
If you turn on sync, your logbook is stored in your own private iCloud container and kept in step across your devices by Apple, under your own Apple ID. This uses Apple's iCloud service and is covered by Apple's privacy terms. We have no servers of our own and cannot access your iCloud data. Turning sync off keeps the logbook on that device only. Logline Pro purchases are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to check whether a purchase is active; this involves an anonymous device identifier and receipt data, never your name, email or contacts. Payment details are handled entirely by Apple and never reach us.
The map background is loaded from OpenStreetMap when you open the Route map screen, which is a normal web request to their servers. Your flights, airports and routes are drawn on top by the app itself and are never sent anywhere.
Expiry and currency reminders are scheduled on your device through iOS notifications; no reminder ever comes from a server.
Logline contains no analytics, no advertising and no third-party tracking.
If the app ever changes how it handles data, this policy will be updated and the change noted in the app's update notes.
